The doctoral study programme Marketing Communication and Advertising (as well as bachelor's and master's programme) responds to the dynamic changes in the development of media and communication studies and reflects current trends not only from the domestic environment but also from abroad. The offer of courses therefore provides a strong foundation for graduates´ orientation in areas that are required in social and economic practice associated with marketing communication, media, creative work, evaluation of communication products and media or marketing research. The theoretical background therefore focuses on Methodology and methods of marketing communication research, Theory of media communication and communication models, Theory of marketing communication and communication management, Philosophical problems of humanities and social sciences, Research Ethics and Academic Integrity, Creation of scientific research project, Foreign language for academic purposes, but also other industry-relevant areas (e.g. Statistics, Academic skills and others). At the same time, doctoral students are frequently involved in international and national research projects, thus gaining practical academic skills, developing the ability to work in a creative team, leading specialized working groups (e.g. on specific tasks or subproject assignments), developing language and presentation skills at international forums (presentation of research results at conferences and symposia), refining their skills in conducting professional dialogue and argumentation, practically applying deep and highly specialized knowledge of the content of media and communication studies, as well as marketing communication, and their methodology in designing solutions to complex problems and tasks. Doctoral students often organize various events at the department. In addition to educational activities, they regularly organize or co-organize events at scientific and research level, including international ones. Furthermore, it folllows the Study regulations of CPU in Nitra and the Principles of Doctoral Studies at the Faculty of Arts, CPU in Nitra), and to proceed to the defence of dissertation it is necessary to meet the set conditions: students must obtain a specified number of credits (see study plans), successfully pass the dissertation examination, which is a state examination.

The dissertation examination consists of the Defence of Initial Chapters of Dissertation, two compulsory state examination subjects (Methodology and Research Methods in Marketing Communication, Theory of Marketing Communication and Communication Management), and one compulsory elective subject, which the students choose according to their field of interest and the topic of their dissertation. Students can choose from the following subjects: Theory of Mass Media Communication, Theory of Social Communication, Theory of Visual Communication.

The study plan consists of several parts: Study section, Research section, and a so-called Other activities section (Dissertation Project).

The Study section consists of subjects that are essential in terms of the study programme and its degree, considering the content and scale of the field of study, and the focus of the study programme (e.g. Theory of Marketing Communication and Communication Management, Media Communication Theory and Communication Models). This part of study is carried out mainly in the form of lectures, seminars, exercises and personal consultations, which are supplemented by individual study of relevant literature.

The Research section is linked to individual or team based creative research activity of the doctoral student and in terms of topic and content is related to the topic of the particular dissertation.

If the supervisor decides that it is beneficial for the student´s study, then Pedagogical activities (optional part) are also part of the doctoral study - e.g. Teaching, Other Pedagogical Activity or Consultation (they relate to the activity of a doctoral student at the bachelor's degree).

During the study, doctoral students, if it is relevant in terms of their topic and study focus, and if the circumstances (e.g. pandemic situation) allow it - they can participate in international internships abroad.

The study is based on a credit system. Students must obtain the required number of credits for each of the components of the study to successfully complete the study. Students must obtain at least 70 credits for the Study section and 59 credits for the Research section. Students will receive 38 credits for passing the dissertation examination.

The courses are designed to cover all relevant topics and areas of marketing communication in the degree and difficulty corresponding to the requirements for the doctoral degree, taking into account the standard credit load of the student (30 credits/semester).

The relevant extracurricular activities are described in more detail in part 3 on the employability of graduates. In addition to study plans and subjects designed in them, students develop their skills, acquire and expand their knowledge and foreign competencies through extracurricular activities, not only in standard activities (e.g. ŠVOUČ – Student Research and Professional Activities, or international competition Mladý delfín (Young Dolphin) - international competition of marketing projects for young people and students of Marketing and Marketing Communication) but also within the framework of specific activities initiated by the department staff, doctoral students and students: Cirkulátor - international student contest in creative advertising2004 - 2019 (see: https://cirkulator.eu/)Študentský okulár kreatívnej guerilly (ŠOKG) - international student competition of guerrilla campaigns organized by the Department of Mass Media Communication and Advertising CPU in Nitra since 2016 – until today, or the initiative created within the APVV project - Cena Inkubátora multimediálnej tvorby: 2020 (Incubator of Multimedia Production Award: 2020).

d) - The institution states the number of credits, the achievement of which is a condition for proper completion of studies and other requirements that the student must meet within the study programme and for its proper completion, including the requirements for state examinations, rules for re-study and rules for the extension, interruption of study.
The total number of credits required for proper completion of doctoral studies with a standard length is at least 180 credits. The student obtains credits in accordance with the prescribed composition of the study plan. The condition for completion of doctoral studies is the defence of Initial Chapters of Dissertation, successful completion of state examinations from the subjects according to the study plan and defence of the dissertation. Requirements for state examinations, rules for re-study, extension and interruption of study are stated in the Study Regulations of CPU (https://www.ukf.sk/images/univerzita/Uradna_tabula/Studijny_poriadok_uplne-znenie_23_11_2020.pdf). The dissertation is a part of the study of each study program, and together with its defence it forms one subject; the defence of the dissertation belongs to the state examinations (§51 par. 3 of the Act No. 131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education Institutions and Amendments to Certain Acts). The condition for the completion of the doctoral study is the successful completion of the state examination in the subjects according to the study plan and the defence of the dissertation. Requirements for state examinations, rules for re-study, extension and interruption of study are regulated by the Study Regulations of CPU (https://www.ukf.sk/images/univerzita/Uradna_tabula/Studijny_poriadok_uplne-znenie_23_11_2020.pdf). The condition for proceeding to the defence of the dissertation, except in cases according to §63 par. 11, is a written consent of the student that their final thesis can be published and made available to the public according to §63 par. 9 for the period of its storage according to §63 par. 7. If it is necessary for the course of the defence to inform the thesis supervisor, the consultant, opponents or the examination commission about the data, the disclosure of which is excluded in the thesis, especially because it is a trade secret of a third party, classified information or personal data, the student may in compliance with the conditions pursuant to special regulations, state this information in special non-public documentation, which is not a part of the dissertation and which is intended exclusively for the supervisor of the dissertation, the consultant, opponents and the examination commission. According to §63, before the defence of the dissertation, the university sends this thesis in electronic form to the Central Register of Final, Rigorous and Habilitation Theses and verifies the degree of originality of the submitted work on the basis of information from it. Along with the dissertation, the relevant reviews of the supervisors and opponents of the dissertation are also sent in electronic form. These reviews are stored in the Central Register of Final, Rigorous and Habilitation Theses together with the relevant thesis for the period of its retention. A written license agreement with the copyright holder of the review is required to make these reviews available to the public. At the university, the organisation of the dissertation, including its defence, is regulated by Internal Regulation on final, rigorous and habilitation theses (13/2020) (https://www.uk.ukf.sk/sk/zaverecne-prace), which is binding for all parts of the university and their workplaces and for all students and staff of the university. The document determines the conditions of preparation and assessment of final theses, types of theses, assignment of final theses and their structure, citations and use of bibliographic references in the theses, formal structure, submission, evaluation and defence of final theses, publication of theses and reviews. In addition to the mentioned directive, the Department of Mass Media Communication and Advertising (KMKaR) at the Faculty of Arts CPU has developed its own methodological materials and guidelines concerning the content of the these as well as the optimal time schedule. In addition to consultations for the dissertation, the work with resources is also explained and exemplified by a brochure created by KMKaR students within the student project “Zazdrojuj to správne (Get the references right)”. The issue of ethics and academic integrity in the writing of final theses was also addressed at the meeting of the Board of Specialists. Thanks to this discussion, a separate subject (Academic Skills) was prepared. In addition to other important topics and skills, it also deals with issues of academic integrity and relevant ways of working with literature resources. Since there is a huge interest in this subject, the department offers it also to other study programs at the faculty level. By writing the dissertation, the student has to demonstrate the ability to independently acquire theoretical and practical knowledge and creatively apply and use it in solving specific problems. There can be three types of dissertation: theoretical, research based or applied. The thesis must be original, written by the author in compliance with the rules of working with information sources. The dissertation must not unjustifiably interfere with the rights or legally protected interests of third parties, in particular it must not infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties, handle classified information or personal data, confidential information or trade secrets of third parties without authorization. The author is obliged to consistently and correctly cite the information sources used, namely to state the results, to precisely describe the methods and working procedures used, to document laboratory or other results and field research of other authors or author teams. The dissertation has the character of an original scientific work. Through the dissertation, the student demonstrates the ability and readiness for independent scientific and creative activity in the field of research or development in the field of marketing communication. And as stated in the Internal Regulation on final, figorous and habilitation theses (no. 13/2020, Article 2, point 4): “The work presents the results of scientific research and the application of research results in social practice. It is characterized by a high degree of analysis and synthesis of knowledge, as well as a sufficient overview of the existing professional literature. The result of the dissertation should be the acquisition of new knowledge in the field.” According to the above mentioned regulation and the Principles of Doctoral Studies at the Faculty of Arts CPU in Nitra, the dissertation contains a theoretical introduction with an analysis of the current state of knowledge in the field, specification of objectives and detailed description of procedures, results, evaluation, discussion, conclusions, list of references and a summary in English or another foreign language. The recommended scope of the dissertation is 80 to 120 pages, but the basic part of the dissertation (without appendices) should not exceed 11 author sheets (220 pages) (144,000 to 216,000 characters, including spaces). Images, diagrams, tables that are not part of the text and can be listed in the appendix are not included in the number of author sheets. The dissertation is submitted in hardcover. Dissertations are archived in the University Library in Nitra. The preparation of the dissertation defence is organized by the supervising department after the doctoral student meets the conditions (successfully passes the dissertation examination, submits an application for the dissertation defence with the relevant requirements according to the Principles of Doctoral Studies at the Faculty of Arts CPU in Nitra). The dissertation is evaluated by the supervisor and three opponents. The commission, consisting of at least four members (chairman + 3 members), and three opponents are appointed by the dean on the proposal of the chairman of the Board of Specialists. They are usually chosen from the members of the Board of Specialists. At least one opponent must hold the scientific-pedagogical title of professor (perform the function of professor), or be the holder of the academic degree of doctor of science, or a researcher with the awarded qualification degree I. Other opponents may be holders of the scientific-pedagogical title of associate professor (perform the function of associate professor), significant experts or academics with the academic degree PhD., ArtD. or older equivalent, exceptionally practitioners. The supervisor and opponents will write a review on the thesis via the Academic Information System by filling out the given form. The principles of doctoral studies at the Faculty of Arts, CPU in Nitra, state that: “The opponent's review contains an objective and critical analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the submitted dissertation, is clear and does not repeat the content. The reviewer comments in particular on: a) the up-to-date character of the chosen topic, b) the chosen methods of processing, c) the achieved results, indicating new knowledge that the dissertation brings, d) the contribution to the further development of science, technology or art, e) achievement of pursued objectives. " (Article 13, par. 3) The supervisor and the opponents of the dissertation will further express their comments, questions and recommendations for the thesis in the review, and propose the final evaluation of the thesis. Reviews must be made available to the student at least two to three weeks before the defence. Study Regulations of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra https://www.ukf.sk/images/univerzita/Uradna_tabula/Studijny_poriadok_uplne-znenie_23_11_2020.pdf and Internal Regulation no. 13/2020 on final, rigorous and habilitation theses https://www.uk.ukf.sk/sk/zaverecne-prace). The defence of the dissertation is public and is usually carried out in the presence of the supervisor and the opponents before the commission for state examinations (as mentioned above). After the presentation, the student comments on the evaluations from the reviews and has the opportunity to respond to comments and questions arising from the evaluation. The defence of the dissertation is completed by a discussion and evaluation of the defence of dissertation. The student is obliged to submit the dissertation also in electronic form in the manner specified by CPU in Nitra. If the student fails to defend the dissertation, the examination commission will give reasons for its decision and set a deadline for revision of the dissertation within 1 year at the latest. Doctoral studies at the faculty are coordinated by the vice-dean for science, research and postgraduate forms of study.

The seminars take place mostly in the seminar rooms in the building on Dražovská St. no. 4 (room B 208, capacity 24 seats, fixed benches, area 43 m2 - computer room, room B 206, capacity 20 seats, fixed benches, area 46 m2, room B 208, capacity 24 seats, fixed benches, area 43 m2, room S 208, capacity 18 seats, fixed benches, area 35 m2, room S 207, capacity 18 seats, fixed benches, area 33 m2) - rooms are equipped with computers and data projectors.

Thanks to an APVV project, the Department of Mass Media Communication and Advertising established a so-called Incubator of Multimedia Production, which consists of two specialized rooms:

DigiLAB: a digital classroom has been equipped with the new iMac 21.5” computers and the Adobe package, which includes Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. DigiLab also includes the Eye Tracker Gazepoint. The eyetracking technology was purchased within the APVV project. It includes two Gazepoint GP3 Eye Trackers, two Gazepoint Biometrics systems and the corresponding Gazepoint Analysis UX Edition software, together with the relevant accessories (holders and cabling). In 2020, multi-purpose reducers for connecting peripherals (4x Baseus mechanical eye Six-in-one smart HUB) as well as backup disks (2x Samsung SSD 1TB USB 3.2, USB) were additionally purchased for the computers.

The department also has a specialized photography studio equipped with the appropriate photo equipment, tripods and screens: FotoLab. The incubator project as well as students currently use the newly created photography studio during the educational process (especially in practical disciplines), which has the basic equipment to work in photo workshops and record the results of projects and student work. The photo studio contains devices such as two flash studio lights with accessories and three types of photo background installed on the wall. Macbooks Pro are used in workshops and lectures outside in the field or in the studio, especially outside the digital classroom. Three digital SLR cameras with lenses and external flashes are also part of the current FotoLab. In 2020, FotoLab was equipped with a 32-inch monitor, used for photo editing during workshops, exercises and specialized seminars, as well as for shooting photos directly to a computer, demonstrating and checking photos during taking photographs. Because print output is a successful completion of photography and graphics, the Canon Pixma Pro 100s A3+ printer has been added. A chair for photographing portraits and various types of smaller photo backgrounds and props has been added to the studio's equipment.

In accordance with strategic and operational goals, the CPU employs the following systems, including their value added for managing, storing and evaluating information:

1. Academic Information System (AIS2) – is currently used to record complex information about the study programme (study plans, course information sheets, academic profiles of teachers and student records, including their admission procedure, studies, final theses and state exams). The CPU also uses the AIS to prepare academic schedules and conduct student evaluations of programmes, teachers and studies. Data from the AIS are uploaded to the Central Register of Students, the Central Register of Theses and Dissertations and the register of universities - PortalVS.sk. At the management level, the AIS serves as a resource for reporting teaching activities and measuring the educational performance of departments/institutes and their offer of study programmes. The information collected in the AIS is the fundamental source of information for the accreditation and creation of the offer of study programmes.

2. Document Management (DOC) - (document management system) serves as an authorized zone for employees and students of the university and, along with the intranet section of the website, provides access to current documents (internal regulations of the university and faculty, forms, decisions of the rector, deans, e.g., concerning scholarships, software (licensed and open-source), working materials of management units, etc.).

3. Education Portal (EDU) - https://edu.ukf.sk/

4. Library Lnformation System (KIS) - https://kis.ukf.sk/opacXE

5. University Information System (UIS) - https://uis.ukf.sk/

6. Catering Portal - https://www.stravovanie.ukf.sk/

7. Order Management System (oSYS) –

8. Accommodation System (UIS)- https://uis.ukf.sk/

9. Time and Attendance System (Watt) - https://watt.ukf.sk/

10. Employee Self-service Portal (ESS) –

https://portal.ukf.sk/kvalita/index.php?r=site/login

11. Web mail for employees and students - https://posta.ukf.sk/webmail/

12. University website - https://www.ukf.sk/

All information systems communicate with the user through a secured channel. In order to simplify access and minimize the possibility of credential theft, a system of central authentication has been deployed. It stores the access data of employees and students via LDAP and enables their verification upon request from all information systems.

The system is linked to the financial and personnel system (SOFIA), and thus upon termination of employment the employee’s access to the information systems and facilities of the university is automatically denied and, vice-versa, granted upon onboarding.

Our participation in the Eduroam project represents a significant modernization, as this infrastructure enables students and academic staff to connect to a computer network at another academic institution without having to register or obtain additional credentials. Therefore, connecting to the network requires only the username and password that the user owns from the home institution. This network can be used by both university visitors and our students and staff. The main communication channel presenting and promoting the university is the university website.

CPU has built and continues to innovate its own ICT infrastructure and information systems (IS) that are integrated parts of information support processes with a focus on research, education and management. Their implementation and operation are managed by the University CIKT (Centre for ICT), ensuring compliance with the University long-term intentions and strategic goals. Regarding their application, individual technologies and systems are used as follows: project and task management (IS Projects, SAP system, MIS Performance indicators); teaching and improvement activities support provided at the level of knowledge management (KIS, University library databases, some educational materials are provided by faculty staff via e-learning courses); didactic support and improvement activities (available computer classrooms in each faculty); Internet access (all facilities are almost completely covered by wireless connection and all fixed computers provide Internet connection).

Interaction with students is ensured through AIS, e-mail communication, as well as web presentations of the university, its faculties and other organisational units. In selected periods, the University increasingly promotes its activities and study possibilities by means of print media, workshops and open days. Sharing and providing information at the level of educational content (e-learning, library services, and education management) is accessible nonstop through electronic services. All the university information systems are linked to the unified user management (LDAP) system, allowing access to all systems through the same credentials.

An example of minimizing the environmental burden is the electronic monitoring of time and attendance, incapacity for work, business trips and overtime using contactless chip cards or the Time and Attendance Software (WATT). Another example of minimizing the environmental burden is the Order Management System (oSYS), designed for internal procurement of goods and services within CPU through mass collection of information from individual organisational units with the possibility of approving individual orders in accordance with the hierarchical structure of CPU. Employees may access payslip or other information regarding remuneration in the ESS system.

c) - Characteristics and extent of distance education applied in the study programme with the assignment to courses. Access, manuals of e-learning portals. Procedures for the transition from contact teaching to distance learning.

The CPU uses several proven, modernized existing and new information systems providing information to support management in the following areas:

E-learning systems

Education Portal (EDU)- https://edu.ukf.sk/

The CPU e-learning portal provides automatic access to published e-learning courses for all CPU students. Users can monitor the fulfilment of individual tasks and assignments and hold discussions in forums. Moreover, the system provides teachers with sophisticated online testing options.

The Department of Mass Media Communication and Advertising has created more than 60 e-learning courses, which are available at:

https://edu.ukf.sk/course/index.php?categoryid=52.

E-learning user guidelines in the form of tutorial videos are published on the Faculty of Arts website at: https://edu.ukf.sk/course/index.php?categoryid=162

Video Conferencing System (meet) - https://meet.ukf.sk/

The system enables distance learning and student evaluation, as well as online state examinations at the time of controlled distance learning. Moreover, it provides online consultation sessions with students and other study and group activities. All communication via the CPU Meet application is fully encrypted.

MS Teams, an application from Office 365 package accessible to all teachers and students alike, is another suitable platform for distance learning.

The complete educational agenda at CPU is provided through the Academic Information System (AIS). The system processes data on the education of a specific student from the moment of submitting his application for university studies, through the registration of study results to the registration and printing of education documents. In addition to the study results, it also contains records of final theses, class schedule and signing up of students for courses. At the same time, data are provided through the AIS to the Central Register of Students and the Central Register of Final Theses. At the management level, AIS serves as a source for reporting teaching and for measuring the educational performance of departments and their staff. The information gathered in AIS also serves as a basic source for accreditation and creation of the offer of study programmes.

The Library Information System (KIS) provides for the activities of the university library. The record of publishing activities is operated within the library information system, and it allows access to personal publishing activities of each employee both at the level of insertion and at the level of obtaining publication and citation outputs. The obtained data serve as a source for the evaluation of employees and departments in the area of publishing performance, and at the same time provide a source for the Central Registry of Publications Activity. Study support is provided through study materials, which are available to students through several channels. The primary source is the newly built University Library in the CPU Campus Zobor with its study rooms on Hodžová and Krasková streets.

Within the project NISPEZ the University Library provided access to the following electronic information databases through Slovak Centre for Scientific and Technical Infomation: SCOPUS, SpringerLink, Wiley Online Library, ProQuest Central, ScienceDirect, Knovel Library, Web of Knowledge - Current Contents Connect (CCC), Web of Knowledge - Essential Science Indicators (ESI), Web of Knowledge - Journal Citation Reports (JCR), Web of Knowledge - MEDLINE, Web of Knowledge - Web of Science (WOS), Web of Knowledge - Korean Journal Database, Web of Knowledge - Russian Science Citation Index, Web of Knowledge - SciELO Citation Index.

Thanks to cooperation with the Slovak National Library in Martin, the University Library had access to the databases of the American company EBSCO Publishing: Academic Search Complete, Agricola, AHFS Consumer Medication Information, Business Source Premier, ERIC, GreenFile, Health Source – ConsumerEdition, Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition, Humanities International Complete, Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts, MasterFILE Premier, MEDLINE with Full Text, Newspaper Source, Regional Business News, Teacher Reference Center.

There is an extensive network of specialized ICT-equipped classrooms at CPU. In addition, there are freely accessible computer boxes in the corridors in all university buildings for students. There are currently 790 computers available for students at CPU. They were installed or updated to a large extent in 2010-2012 (but since then they have been completely updated several times) within the structural funds projects (Modernizing infrastructure to improve the quality of education and ICT-focused infrastructure development – condition for education in the 3rd millennium). As part of these projects, more than 100 classrooms were also equipped with data projectors and computers connected to them. Specialized classrooms (special language classrooms equipped with software for translators; 2 classrooms equipped with complete interpreting equipment; special room for audio-visual translation; research, recording and communication centre, and university creative studio) were established and equipped.

An important step in the field of e-learning is the integration of a system for recording and broadcasting lectures, which is deployed in 5 lecture rooms within individual faculties. One lecture room arranged in this way is also located on the premises of the Faculty of Arts CPU in Nitra. In addition to increasing content accessibility, this technology will also provide space for promotion and communication with the general public.

The basis of the technical infrastructure of data and telecommunication networks is a 10 Gb/s optical network, built within the framework of structural funds projects (Modernizing infrastructure to improve the quality of education and ICT-focused infrastructure development – condition for education in the 3rd millennium). Thanks to the resources from the structural funds, the coverage of the wireless signal, which is currently available in all university buildings, has also been expanded. CPU currently has 113 wireless access points.

The operation of the computer network and the operation of information systems is provided by several dozen servers, gradually expanded thanks to resources from the structural funds. At present, information systems run in most cases on virtual systems, which saves energy costs and increases the security of systems against intrusions.

As part of the provision of basic information support for the study, an e-mail system was set up for students at the university's own expense, through which each student obtains their own e-mail account for official communication with the institution upon enrolment. Students are informed not only by e-mail communication, communication via the websites of particular departments and distribution of messages in the AIS system, but also via large screens integrated into the information system of the university. This technology was implemented within the project ICT-focused infrastructure development – condition for education in the 3rd millennium and its goal is to provide current information, multimedia presentations and presentations of individual departments in the busiest places of the university.

An important step showing the development level of the university was the involvement in the Eduroam project, the basic idea of which is to allow students and academic staff to connect to a computer network in another academic institution without having to register or obtain access data. Connecting to the network requires only the username and password that the user uses in the home institution. We expect it to be used by university visitors, but also by our students and staff during stays at other universities.

As part of the introduction of the quality of education and research, an extension of information systems has been built in recent years, the aim of which is to map the activity, productivity and results of the university's staff. The implementation of this managerial superstructure resulted in closer cooperation of individual systems and the creation of an integrative portal simplifying access to particular university information systems.

The presentation of the university on the outside is provided by its website. It has undergone several changes in recent years. In the first stage, the design was changed and simplified, and during the second stage, a content management tool was deployed, enabling simple and user-friendly content maintenance and updating. Subsequently, the site management system was implemented at the faculties and other parts of the university. The secondary information source intended especially for students is the presentation of the activities of the university and the faculty on several social networks, which speeds up the access to information to the target groups and makes it more efficient.

d) - Institution partners in providing educational activities for the study programme and the characteristics of their participation.

The Department of Mass Media Communication and Advertising has established a dense network of partnerships with academic as well as professionally oriented and artistic institutions. Several foreign partner organizations are on an excellent level within the European context and clearly contribute to the quality of the department in a wide range of areas. We intensively cooperate with partner university departments in the area project activities (national projects KEGA, VEGA and APVV), which is formalized at the level of memoranda of cooperation. The most intensive partners involved in solving specific grant tasks are the Metropolitan University Prague and the College of International and Public Relations. Specific international cooperation is also regularly established in the preparation of European Horizon projects. Partnerships with the Polish University of Economics in Katowice and the French University of Lorraine led to the preparation and implementation of a dual diploma. Student life

https://www.ukf.sk/studium/studentsky-zivot

Constantine the Philosopher University promotes student cultural and sports activities. The student activities revolve around the various University Associations and Clubs.

Culture

The Hall of Residence CPU Nitra is home to the University Creative Studio. It is an integral cultural rendezvous point for the University students and their ensembles to rehearse and stage theatrical productions, various scenic projects and cultural events. The Creative Studio is also used for educational purposes (workshops, seminars, trainings) within the artistic and artistic-educational study programmes at the University.

Ponitran, the oldest folk ensemble at the University, focuses on traditional Slovak folklore with special interest in the Ponitrie Region. The mission of this ensemble is to evolve spare-time activities of the students, follow up on the traditional Slovak culture, interpret it artistically and collect the folklore material from various Slovak regions, but especially from the Nitra and Tekov Regions.

The VYDI Student Theatre was founded in 1992. During an academic year, student actors rehearse one production that is staged for a domestic audience in the University Creative Studio of the Faculty. They also take part in various regional shows or thematic festivals. The participation of students in this body is not limited only to theatrical productions, but a diverse range of variable activities also takes place: improligy (improvisation leagues), stand up performances, street parades, Santa's parties, majálesy (student rag in May), cabaret, matriculation, workshops, etc.

The civic association JA a MY organises cultural events, exhibitions, concerts, scientific conferences, seminars, discussion forums, round tables, debates, as well as alternative art projects in the national and international context, with an emphasis on supporting the region's all-round artistic development. The association supports budding artists, publicists and scholars of fine art in order to enable them to make a public presentation of their creative and scientific activities. The best-known event organised under the auspice of this association is The Petr Scherhaufer Festival.

The Hungarian CPU Choir successfully represents the University on domestic and foreign concert stages, choir festivals and competitions. At The Kodályové dni Festival in Galanta, the national qualification competition of choirs, our choir has repeatedly won the Zlaté pásmo award. The members organise regular concerts and its goal is to cultivate and further revive Kodály's traditions, as well as the dissemination of Hungarian choral culture, primarily among the university youth. The manager of the choir is currently the Faculty of Central European Studies, CPU.

Sport

In addition to individual sports, the sports activities of CPU students are focused especially on team sports. The following sports clubs represent the sport life at the CPU: Volley Project, BKM Youth Basketball Club, Taekwondo and hockey team Philosophers Nitra.
